The third season of Star vs. the Forces of Evil was confirmed on March 4, 2016. It premiered on July 15, 2017, with the television movie Star vs. the Forces of Evil: The Battle for Mewni, with later episodes scheduled for November 6, 2017, and the finale aired on April 7, 2018.
